The Magistrate Judge Duty Schedule for 2020 has been updated and the Magistrate Judge Duty Schedule for 2021 has been released.

The Judiciary’s Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) system is the means by which judges, court staff, attorneys, and other public users electronically file, review, and download case information. The Judiciary is currently transitioning to a Next Generation of CM/ECF (NextGen). The Mississippi Northern District will go live on NextGen January 19, 2021. The system will have new sign-on functionality, which gives users access to both PACER and electronic filing, for all NextGen courts in which the user is authorized to file electronically, from a single account.

The Clerk’s Office will be closed on the following days:

Veteran’s Day – November 11 (Wednesday)
Thanksgiving Holiday – November 25 – 27 (Wed. – Fri.)
Christmas Holiday – December 23 – 25 (Wed. – Fri.)
New Year’s Holiday – December 30 – January 1 (Wed. – Fri.)

The CM/ECF system for the Northern District of Mississippi will be down for NextGEN Prep Maintenance this Thursday, October 22, 2020, from 5:30 PM to 12:00 AM CST. 

CM/ECF Access, Queries, Reports, Documents, etc. WILL NOT be available during this timeframe.
