Procedure for Conventional Filings

Procedure for Conventional Filings *Note: These instructions are NOT for submission of electronic trial or hearing exhibits. Please follow your Judge’s directions for trial and hearing exhibits.

Conventional filings are files or exhibits that cannot be reduced to PDF format – primarily digital audio or video files. All documents must be filed electronically through CM/ECF. If you have a conventional filing, please review Section VI of the Administrative Procedures for Electronic Case Filing. (Note: If you wish to seal or restrict access to your filing, you must first follow the procedures outlined in Section V – Sealed and Restricted Documents). To initiate your submission, electronically file a Notice of Conventional Filing.  After your Notice has been reviewed by the clerk’s office, you will receive a secure link to upload your file/exhibit.
