The Pro Bono Work to Empower and Represent Act of 2018 (the POWER Act), promotes pro bono legal services as an important tool to empower and support survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Through the POWER Act, Federal Courts across the country have an opportunity to directly engage our citizens and communities in supporting these survivors.
On May 20, 2026, the Northern District of New York, in coordination with other courts, presented a POWER Act Program featuring Jennifer R. Rawlings, Esq., the Co-Director of the Center for Indigenous Peoples Rights at Yale University. The Northern District of Mississippi is pleased to offer a recording of that presentation, and other resources, now available at this link.
