The United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi is thrilled to announce that our Greenville Division’s court operations have relocated to our new courthouse at 219 Washington Avenue in downtown Greenville!  All court proceedings presently noticed to be held at our former Main Street address will be reset for our new Washington Avenue address.  The new Washington Avenue courthouse will be open to the public beginning October 7, 2026. 

We appreciate your patience and keen interest over the years as we planned and witnessed the unfolding of this long-awaited moment in our court’s history.  The new Greenville courthouse is intended to not only improve court functions but facilitate your practice of law and representation of your clients in the Northern District of Mississippi.  We look forward to inviting you to the grand opening of the new Greenville courthouse so stay tuned!

The courthouse will not have a public clerk's office for filing. As always, the clerk's office in Greenville is open by prior appointment only. Paper filings should either be mailed to Oxford or delivered in person to Oxford or Aberdeen during those locations’ open hours.
